A quick post today

I'm on Saltspring Island (in the southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia) learning how to do wet felting.  It's been an amazing retreat so far - have made a scarf and a purse already and by tonight will have a wearable garment (at least that's the theory)!  Lots of fun that I hope to make use of after I get home.

First I want to share a little of the amazing views from the Bed and Breakfast (#OceanSpray).



Last night we had a visit from a pod of Orcas (Killer Whales) that meandered in front of us for about 30 minutes.  It was amazing watching them.  These are the best pictures I go - a little blurry as I was on my phone.  Darn the whale watching boat that had a birds eye view (I think they were too close!) and wouldn't get out of my pictures!
