Today I'm participating in the Stampin Dreams Blog Hop.  The theme is "Christmas in July". I decided to use the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  I started out with a completely different idea for this card using the colour resist technique, but some how that didn't work and here's what I ended up with.  I'm pretty happy with the result.  I love the combination of Sahara Sand and Evening Evergreen.  I used my Blending Brushes to add Cherry Cobbler to the centre and then stamped stars randomly on it.

Instructions

1. Cut Evening Evergreen cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
2. Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
   
3. Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"
4. Add Cherry Cobbler ink using Blending Brush.
5. Stamp stars randomly using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
6. Cut Cherry Cobbler cardstock 2 3/4" x 5 1/4"
7. Adhere stamped piece to the Cherry Cobbler cardstock using Stampin' Seal.
8. Adhere to Designer Series Paper piece approximately 1/4" from left hand side using Stampin' Seal.
9. Wrap Evening Evergreen ribbon around piece and tie a bow on right hand side.
10. Adhere to the card base using Stampin' Seal.
11. Cut out star from Evening Evergreen cardstock
12. Cut out open star from Gold Foil Sheet
13. Adhere gold star to Evening Evergreen star using Multipurpose Adhesive Glue.
14. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
15. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock and punch out using small oval from the Double Oval Punch.
16. Punch out scalloped oval from Evening Evergreen cardstock.
17. Adhere sentiment to scalloped oval using Dimensionals.
18. Adhere to bottom right corner using Dimensionals.
19. Adhere Gilded Gems

Place an order with me before July 14th and I will enter you into the draw to get early access and be able to comment on the items you want starting at 5pm on July 16th!
