Casually Crafting - Colour Challenge

I'm back with another casual card for the Casually Crafting Blog Hop. We're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that love to stamp and love to share.  We share card and projects that are simple and easy to create with a few products and are perfect for the beginner and casual stamper.  Our blog hop goes live on the third Saturday of each month.  I hope you'll join us and "hop" around our group to be inspired!

This month the them is based on a colour challenge with Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight and Polished Pink.  I have to admit this challenge was hard for me. 

This colour combination isn't one that I use very often, but I'm pleased with the result!
I used the Delicate Dahlia Stamp Set which is available during Sale-a-Bration with a $120 CDN order to make this pretty card and I stamped the large image on Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum.  I love how shimmery it is!

Instructions
  1. Cut Polished Pink card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
  2. Cut Daffodil Delight card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
  4. Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom right corner.
  5. Stamp the large dahlia using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum.  You'll need to let this dry - the ink will smudge if it isn't dry.
  6. Stamp 2 small flowers and 2 leaves on a scrap of Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  7. Stamp the inside of the leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink and the inside of the flowers in Daffodil Delight ink.
  8. When the large dahlia is dry, cut out using Paper Snips
  9. Adhere to the middle of the Basic White piece using Dimensionals.
  10. Adhere leaves underneath using Glue Dots
  11. Adhere small flowers using Dimensionals.
  12. Adhere to the Daffodil Delight card stock using Stampin' Seal.
  13. Adhere to the card base using Stampin' Seal.
  14. Adhere In Colour Jewels to the card base.

How do you register for the event? 
Simply head to my Online Store and purchase the Whimsy & Wonder Suite (Item 156276 - $109.25 or an equivalent amount of product $109.25 before shipping and taxes) if you’ve already got the suite. Note:  You need the suite to complete the make and takes!  You will earn a sale-a-bration item of your choice (Level 1) with your order, but if you top up your order to $120, you'll get 2 Level 1 items or 1 Level 2 item!!!
 
Purchase the suite in my Online Store using the Host Code 3Q4DKSQA and you’ll automatically be registered for the event! If you have other items you want to order you can simply add them on your Stamp Camp order and save on some shipping! By purchasing on this stamp camp host code you'll automatically be registered for the event.

PLEASE REGISTER EARLY AS THE DIES ARE ON LOW INVENTORY!  if they are on back order when you place your order, make sure you say "yes" to ship later! That will make sure your dies will be shipped when they arrive in the warehouse!

My registration is open to Canadian Residents only, but if you live in the US, Australia or the UK, you can get your suite through a participating member of the Creativity Abounds Design Team.
