Sale-a-Bration Blog Hop - Penguin Playmates Triple Point Triangle Card

Today I'm participating in a Sale-a-Bration Blog Hop where all projects will focus on Sale-a-Bration.

It's Sale-a-Bration time for the second time this year!  That is so exciting and the perfect time to grab hold of free product when you order $60 or more from either the July to December Mini Catalogue or the Annual Catalogue.  I think Stampin' Up! has knocked it out of the park with this Sale-a-Bration Brochure!  It is amazing and full of products that I know you're going to want!

For my card, I'm featuring 2 products from Sale-a-Bration - Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper and Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. I love both of these.  I created a fun Triple Point Triangle Card.  These cards look complicated, but they really aren't!  Check out my instructions and YouTube Video for help in making one!

Instructions

  1. Cut Soft Seafoam cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold in half on the score line to form card base.
  2. Make a mark with a pencil on the 4 1/4" edge at 2 1/8"
  3. Cut from the score line at 5 1/2" to the 2 1/8" mark on both sides to create a triangle on the front of your card.
  4. Cut Be Dazzling Paper 2" x 5 1/4" and then cut in half on the diagonal.  TIP:  Lay the 2 pieces of Soft Seafoam together to form a rectangle and then lay your Be Dazzling paper on top so you know which way you need to cut the diagonal.
  5. Adhere the Be Dazzling paper to the Soft Seaform triangles you cut off of the card base using Stampin' Seal.
  6. Adhere these triangles to the card base with the points towards the top and the straight edge of the triangle toward the outside edges of the card base.  TIP:  only apply adhesive on the part of the triangle that will be adhered to the card base.
  7. Adhere a Snowflake in the middle using a Glue Dot.
  8. Fussy cut 2 images from the Penguin Playmate Designer Series Paper and adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
  9. Stamp sentiment using Just Jade ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and cut out using Paper Snips
  10. Adhere to the card base using Mini Dimensionals.
  11. Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the inside of the card
  12. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock (2 3/4" x 4") using Just Jade ink and cut out using 3rd largest Scalloped Contour Die.
  13. Adhere to inside of the card.

All of the supplies for this project can be found at the bottom of this post.
