Festive Friday Challenge #0093 - Balloons Around the World Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
This week’s challenge FF #0093 - Balloons Around the World Day
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. - Score a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Basic Black card stock in half at 4 1/4". Turn and score in half at 5 1/2"
- Cut the piece in half on the diagonal - one sheet will give you 2 cards.
- Fold on the score lines to form card base.
- Emboss the bottom triangle using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
- Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4". Cut in half on the diagonal.
- Adhere to the top corner of the card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Stamp sheep using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock
- Colour using Smoky Slake Stampin' Blends.
- Cut out using die
- Cut out balloons from Real Red, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight card stock.
- Adhere to the card base using Glue Dots and Dimensionals.
- Adhere sheep to card base using Dimensionals
- Colour with Wink of Stella
- Cut 2 pieces of 6" of Black and White Twine. Tie a bow with the 2 pieces.
- Adhere to the balloons.
- Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Punch out using Double Oval Punch.
- Punch out scalloped oval from Basic Black card stock.
- Adhere sentiment oval to Basic Black oval using Dimensionals.
- Adhere to the card base making sure Dimensionals are only on the right hand side of the label.
- Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp sheep in bottom right corner.
- Colour using Smoky Slate Blends.
- Adhere to card base.

Your Creative Escapes Retreat - Holiday Edition
We're so excited to be host our Your Creative Escapes Retreat - Holiday Edition.
While we'd all like to be able to get together to stamp, that just isn't possible yet. The retreat will be held on Friday, October 22nd from 7-9pm and on Saturday, October 23rd from 8am to 8pm! The event will be hosted on Zoom as well as streamed to a private Facebook Group for the Make and Take Sessions.
The cost is $105 CDN which includes:
- TWO stamp sets - Delivering Cheer (from the July to December Mini) and Tidings and Trimmings (from the Annual Catalogue)
- Package of Brushed Metallic Dots
- 6 Make and Take projects (includes the supplies, but you provide the adhesives and inks) and PDF instructions
- Pillow gift
- Prizes throughout the day
Sign up and pay by September 26th and you'll be entered into a draw for a Bundle AND you'll receive a Sale-a-Bration item (Level 1) of your choice.
Deadline for sign up is October 6th at 11:59pm Pacific.
There will be a raffle (tickets are extra) for additional prizes at the end of the day.
