Technique Tuesday - Scoring Techniques

I'm excited to be participating in the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop.  Today we're sharing cards featuring scoring techniques.  This is an easy way to add some detail to a card.  I've used the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set and added a double frame to my card using the scoring blade using my Trimmer.



This is one of my favourite stamp sets and is so fun to colour!  Aren't the patterned tights so cute!!!

Instructions

  1. Cut Misty Moonlight card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
  2. Cut Poppy Parade card stock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base
  3. Cut Basic White card stock 3 3/4" x 5"
  4. Stamp images in the middle of the Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  5. Colour using Stampin' Blends - Misty Moonlight, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Soft Succulent and Mango Melody.
  6. Use Trimmer and add 2 score lines on each side - at 1/4" and 1/2"
  7. Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
  8. Stamp sentiment using Poppy Parade ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.
  9. Cut out the "Sending Love" words 
  10. Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals.

Your Creative Escapes Retreat - Holiday Edition

We're so excited to be host our Your Creative Escapes Retreat - Holiday Edition.

While we'd all like to be able to get together to stamp, that just isn't possible yet. The retreat will be held on Friday, October 22nd from 7-9pm and on Saturday, October 23rd from 8am to 8pm! The event will be hosted on Zoom as well as streamed to a private Facebook Group for the Make and Take Sessions.
