Casually Crafting - November 2021

I'm back with another casual card for the Casually Crafting Blog Hop. We're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that love to stamp and love to share.  We share card and projects that are simple and easy to create with a few products and are perfect for the beginner and casual stamper.  Our blog hop goes live on the third Saturday of each month.  I hope you'll join us and "hop" around our group to be inspired!

This month the theme is based on a Colour Challenge - using Black,  Grey and White.

I love cards in these colours - often I add a pop of red, but for my card today I didn't do that.  I used the beautiful Pattern Party Designer Series Paper which you can get for free with your Stampin' Rewards.  It's a pack of 48 sheets of 12" x 12" paper - one side is pretty colours and the other side is black and white.  I used it for my customer thank you cards this month - check those out here.

For my card for this challenge, I punched out different black and white patterns using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.  I love being able to use up scraps of paper and this card is perfect for that!

Instructions

  1. Cut Basic Gray card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold in half to form card base.
  2. Cut Basic Black card stock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base
  3. Cut Basic White card stock 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to card base.
  4. Cut Basic Gray card stock 1 1/4" x 5"
  5. Stamp cross images on Basic Gray card stock using Basic Gray ink.
  6. Adhere to card base about 1/2" from left edge of Basic White card stock.
  7. Stamp sentiment using Basic Gray ink on right side of strip.
  8. Punch out 4 patterns of Designer Series Paper using Rectangular Postage Punch.
  9. Adhere to card base in staggered pattern using Dimensionals.
  10. Adhere Silver Metallic Pearls
  11. Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
  12. Adhere last rectangle to bottom right corner
  13. Adhere to the inside of the card.

You can find all of the supplies for this card in my Online Store.

Now it's time to be inspired by all of the amazing projects in our blog hop.  Make sure you "hop" through all of the projects and please leave a comment on the blog:

                              5. Love this card for so many reasons. It's great for those who are not confident stampers and it shows off the designer series paper. Great card.
