Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - In Memoriam

It's time for another Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop and today the theme is In Memoriam. I decided to make a sympathy card. They are always so hard to make. I've used the Stampin' Up!® Bamboo Beauty stamp set for this card. I think sympathy cards should be simple and convey a caring message. The Bamboo Beauty stamp set is perfect for that!

I masked off a 1 1/4" strip down one side of my card stock and used my blending brush to add Pear Pizzazz ink. Then the bamboo images stamped in Mossy Meadow and a sentiment to finish off the card front.

Instructions

Cut Mossy Meadow card stock 4 1/4" x 11".
Score at 5 1/2" and fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Gold Foil 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the card base.
Cut Very Vanilla card stock 3 3/4" x 5"
Mask off a 1 1/4" strip 1/2" from left edge using large Post It Notes.
Colour the strip with Pear Pizzazz ink using a Blending Brush.
Take off the Post It Notes and stamp the bamboo images using Mossy Meadow ink.
Stamp a sentiment in the bottom right corner using Mossy Meadow ink.
Stamp characters in Mossy Meadow ink.
Adhere to the card base.
Cut Very Vanilla card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp bamboo images using Mossy Meadow ink.
Adhere to the inside of the card
