Creativity Abounds - Birthday Card

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. Here's our amazing Creativity Abounds Design Team! 

This month our theme is Birthday Cards - who doesn't need a stash of Birthday cards!  I created my shaker card using the Turtle Friends Bundle.  It was so much fun to make and is so bright and cheery!

Instructions

1. Cut Misty Moonlight card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4"
2. Fold in half to form card base.
3. Cut Granny Apple Green card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
4. Stamp swirls around edge using Granny Apple Green ink.
5. Adhere to card base.
6. Cut scalloped rectangle using 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Die from Basic White card stock.
7. Stamp Happy Birthday using Granny Apple Green, Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness and Daffodil Delight Ink on an angle across piece.
8. Cut scalloped rectangle using 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Die from Window Sheet.
9. Cut scalloped frame using 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Die and 3rd largest Scalloped Contour Die.
10. Adhere rectangle cut from Window Sheet to the back of the frame using Tear and Tape Adhesive.
11. Adhere Adhesive Foam Strips around window.
12. Fill with Shaker Shapes
13. Adhere stamped rectangle to the window so that "Happy Birthday" words are visible.
14. Adhere to card base using Tear and Tape Adhesive.
15. Stamp turtle on Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
16. Stamp words in shell using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
17. Colour using Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends
18. Adhere to front of card
19. Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4''
20. Stamp sentiment and turtle using Misty Moonlight ink
21. Adhere to the inside of the card.
