Eden's Garden
I created my card today for a recent Sketch Challenge. It features the Eden's Garden Bundle along with the amazing Designer Series Paper and Basic Border Dies. I love how it turned out. First, here's the sketch that I used.
Now for my card. Isn't it pretty! Don't you love the ribbon embellishment? I'll explain how I created that in the instructions and in the Youtube Video.
Instructions
- Cut Soft Succulent card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".
- Score at 4 1/4" and fold on score line to form card base.
- Cut Soft Succulent card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Emboss using Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
- Adhere to card base
- Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and cut out using Basic Border Die.
- Cut Gold Foil Sheet 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and cut out using Basic Border Die.
- Cut Vellum card stock 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and cut out using Basic Border Die.
- Adhere Designer Series Paper, Gold Foil and Vellum together so that they are about 1/4" apart.
- Adhere to card base on left hand side.
- Cut scalloped 1 3/4" scalloped circle from Gold Foil
- Cut 1 5/8" circle from Basic White card stock
- Stamp sentiment and leaves on Basic White circle using Soft Succulent Ink.
- Adhere to Gold Circle using Dimensionals.
- Cut 8" piece of Fine Art Ribbon. Using Take Your Pick Tool, pull the threads in the ribbon so that it pulls apart to give long threads and the gold thread separates.
- Scrunch up the Gold Thread and adhere to the card base using Stampin' Seal to hold in place.
- Adhere sentiment on top using Dimensionals.
- Adhere Garden Gems.
- Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4
- Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 5 1/4"
- Adhere to the right hand side of Basic White card stock
- Stamp leaves in bottom left corner using Soft Succulent card stock
- Adhere to the inside of the card.
