Welcome to the Soft Pastels Blog Hop.  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world and we're sharing our projects with you as part of this blog hop.  Today we are sharing projects created using Soft Pastels.

I created this card using a stamped image from Butterfly Brilliance using Versamark and then applied pastels over the image to "pop" it.  So easy and so pretty.

Instructions

  1. Cut Basic Black card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold on score line for form card base.
  2. Cut Granny Apple Green card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Basic White card stock 3 3/4" x 5"
  4. Stamp image using Versamark Ink.
  5. Rub Granny Apple Green Pastel over the entire image.
  6. Cut Granny Apple Green card stock 1" x 4" and adhere to card base.
  7. Cut ribbon about 15" long
  8. Tie a bow about 3" from the end of the ribbon and wrap around front of card stock over the Granny Apple Green so that the bow is on the right hand side.
  9. Adhere to the back.
  10. Cut Basic White card stock 3/4" x 1 1/2" and stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  11. Cut diagonals on each end.
  12. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
