Mini Catalog Blog Hop - Daffodil Daydreams

I'm exciting to be taking part in this Mini Catalog Blog Hop!  The 2022 January to June Mini Catalog launched on Tuesday and it is amazing!  I love being able to share a card featuring a product from the catalog!

Today my card features the Stampin' Up!® Daffodil Daydreams Bundle and the beautiful Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper.  The paper is available for FREE with a $60 CDN order during Sale-a-Bration.

I've been playing with this suite - it makes me feel like spring with the pretty daffodils and since I've spent most of Christmas shovelling snow, it is a welcome feeling!

I used the Daffodil Dies in this card.  I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed when I first opened the package of dies, but they really aren't that hard to put together.  I have a video tutorial for you to help you with how they go together!

Don't you love these daffodils!

Instructions

  1. Cut Pear Pizzazz card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold on score line to form card base.
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base.
  3. Cut scalloped rectangle from 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Die using Basic White card stock.
  4. Cut out dies for daffodils - I cut out 2 sets of dies - 1 in Daffodil Delight card stock and 1 in Bumblebee card stock - this gave me enough to make 4 sets of daffodils (2 for this card and 2 for another card)
  5. Put the die cut pieces together to form daffodils - see my YouTube Video for help on putting the pieces together
  6. Cut out 6 stems using dies from Pear Pizzazz card stock - again you'll have 3 left over for another card
  7. Adhere the stems to the scalloped rectangle
  8. Adhere the Daffodils on to stems
  9. Tie a small bow and adhere to the daffodils
  10. Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
  11. Stamp sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink
  12. Cut out using Paper Snips
  13. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
  14. Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4
  15. Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 4"
  16. Adhere to the bottom of the card stock
  17. Adhere to the inside of the card.

You can find the supplies for this card at the bottom of the post or in my Online Store.
