Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. Our theme this month is "Throwback Thursday". We were challenged to share a project that is a "throwback" to something else. I had a hard time deciding what to share! I finally decided on a card I made a while ago featuring the Stampin' Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set. My reason for sharing this is because I used a technique that I used when I first started stamping - colouring using my Stampin' Write Markers on the stamps instead of an ink pad. I love this technique and when I first started stamping I used it all of the time because I didn't have all of the colours of ink pads!

If you haven't tried it, definitely play around with it!

Instructions

Cut Highland Heather card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Fresh Freesia card stock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
Ink up stamp using Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia and Shaded Spruce markers. "Huff" (blow using your breath) on the stamp before stamping - it adds a little moisture to the ink in case it has dried out a little bit.
Stamp the image twice - for the second stamp, turn the stamp 180 degrees and stamp below the first stamp.
Cut Fresh Freesia card stock 1 1/2" x 4".
Ink up sentiment using Highland Heather Marker and stamp sentiment.
Wrap ribbon around end and adhere on back.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut 3" of ribbon and tie a faux bow.
Adhere In Color Jewels.
Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the inside of the card.

How do you register for the event?
Simply head to my Online Store and purchase the Artfully Composed Suite (Item 157765 - $123.25 or an equivalent amount of product $123.25 before shipping and taxes) if you’ve already got the suite. Note: You need the suite to complete the make and takes! You will earn a sale-a-bration item of your choice (2 Level 1 or 1 Level 2) with your order.
