Stampin' Up! Trip Achiever Blog Hop - January 2022

Today I'm excited to be hopping along with other demonstrators who earned the Incentive Trip last year. I hope you take the time to hop along with us and check out the amazing projects!

Have you noticed the Stampin' Up!® Rainbow of Happiness Bundle in the January to June Mini Catalogue?  I'll be the first to admit that it wasn't on my wishlist initially, but since I got it and have played with it, I'm in love!  All of the cards are so much fun!  and to make it even better, there is coordinating Designer Series Paper that you can get for free with a $60 CDN order during Sale-a-Bration!  Who doesn't love to get things for free!!!

I made this card for a recent swap with other Canadian Demonstrators and (spoiler alert!) I'm using it this week for our Make and Take for my Launch Party!  It was so much fun to make - I used Blender Brushes to colour the rainbows after creating a template from the dies.  This card is so bright and cheery, it makes me smile!

What do you think?

Instructions

  1. Cut Bermuda Bay card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold on score line to form card base.
  2. Cut Daffodil Delight card stock 4" x 5 1/4".
  3. Emboss Daffodil Delight card stock using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
  4. Adhere to the card base.
  5. Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 4" and adhere in the middle of the card base.
  6. Cut large rainbow die from Basic White card stock
  7. Cut 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Die from Basic White card stock
  8. Using rainbow template that you cut in Step 6, colour each band of the rainbow with a different colour using Blending Brushes - Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness and Daffodil Delight.
  9. Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink down the Bermuda Bay Band - check out my YouTube video on how to get the sentiment to fit down the band.
  10. Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
  11. Adhere Iridescent Rhinestones
  12. Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
  13. Adhere to the inside of the card base.
