Technique Tuesday - Texture Blog Hop

It's time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month we are focusing on Textures. I love adding textures to cards and it's easy to do when using an Embossing Folder.

My card today features the new Stampin' Up!® Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I love this embossing folder! Check out my card which also features the new Stampin' Up!® In Colors.

Instructions

Cut Starry Sky card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4" and fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Tahitian Tide card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
Emboss Lovely Layers Vellum using the Fern Embossing Folder
Adhere to the Tahitian Tide card stock. Apply adhesive in the middle of the vellum so that it doesn't show
Cut 2 pieces of Woven Metallic ribbon in Starry Sky and Tahitian Tide about 20" long. Adhere about 1" from bottom. Tie a bow
Adhere to the card base.
Color sentiment using the In Color Stampin' Write Markers
Stamp in Basic White card stock
Cut out using die from Fabulous Frames Dies
Adhere outside frame to card base
Adhere sentiment piece using Dimensionals.
Adhere embellishments
Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to the inside of the card base.
