Technique Tuesday - Watercoloring

It's time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month we are focusing on
Water Colouring as Stampin' Up! is celebrating Water Colour Month. I've use the beautiful Texture Chic Suite for my card and created a pretty background using Watercolor Paper and my Water Painters!

Instructions

Cut Evening Evergreen card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base.
Cut Watercolor Paper 3" x 4 1/4"
Add water to paper using Water Painter and then colour using Calypso Coral Re-inker. Start light at the top and gradually add more colour as you go down.
Cut 2 pieces of Watercolour Paper 3" x 3". Colour one using Evening Evergreen re-inker and one with Calypso Coral Re-inker.
When paper is dry, adhere large piece of Calypso Coral coloured paper to card base in the bottom right corner - aligning with edges of Designer Series Paper.
Cut 2 leaves from Evening Evergreen piece and 2 flower pieces from Calypso Coral piece.
Adhere flower pieces together and adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere leaves behind flower using Glue Dots.
Cut Basic White card stock 3/4" x 2"
Stamp sentiment using Calypso Coral ink
Adhere to card base on left side about 1 1/2" from top.
Adhere Elegant Faceted Gems
Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp flower in Calypso Coral in bottom right corner
Adhere to the inside of the card.
