Stamping With Friends - Christmas Card

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop as we share what projects we are currently working on to inspire you! You will be visiting with our Design Team Members as they share their wonderful projects and ideas to help spark your creativity. This time our theme is our choice from the "Christmas". My card features the adorable Stampin' Up! All Bundled Up Stamp Set. I love this moose!

Check out this fun twisted easel fold card that I made with "Marty" the moose all decked out for Christmas. Isn't he adorable! I used Paper Piecing to add some detail!

Instructions

Cut Pool Party cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold on score line to form card base
Score again on the front flap from the top right corner to the bottom corner on the diagonal. Fold on the score line so that the bottom triangle faces inwards. This will form your easel
Cut Pool Party cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Stamp the moose in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the left side of the Basic White cardstock
Colour with Stampin' Blends - Gray Granite, Sweet Sorbet, Crumb Cake
Stamp the moose's hat (we call them toques) on Pool Party Designer Series Paper using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Cut out using Paper Snips and adhere to the coloured moose
Adhere to the right side of the Pool Party layer
Cut Pool Party Designer Series Paper 1 1/4" x 4"
Adhere to the left side of the Pool Party layer butted up to the stamped image
Wrap ribbon around left side and tie a bow
Adhere to the card base making sure you only adhere to the bottom triangle.
Stamp the sentiment using Pool Party ink on Basic White cardstock. Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere pieces to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere embellishments
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to inside of card
Stamp small bird on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Colour using Stampin' Blends.
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to the bottom right corner of inside of card bas using a double stack of Dimensionals. - this will be your "stop" so the card will stand up

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
