Boughs of Holly Tone on Tone Card

Today's card is a quick and easy one using Tone on Tone stamping as a background and some pretty Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! Boughs of Holly Suite. I made this card on my Tuesday Night Sketch Challenge using this sketch. This is a great sketch for any combination of products!

Now, here's my card. So pretty in Real Red and Shaded Spruce and check out the subtle background stamping of holly leaves. You can use either Versamark or Real Red Ink to create this effect.

Instructions

Cut Real Red cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Real Red cardstock 4" x 5 1/4".
Stamp holly leaves using Real Red ink or Versamark randomly on Real Red cardstock
Cut 2 pieces of Shaded Spruce cardstock 1 1/2" x 2 1/4"
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 1/4" x 2"
Adhere Designer Series Paper to Shaded Spruce cardstock
Adhere to card base an alternate angles
Wrap ribbon around bottom of cardstock and adhere to back
Adhere to card base
Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 3/4" x 2"
Stamp sentiment using Real Red ink
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Cut 4" of ribbon and slip under ribbon on card base and tie a single knot
Adhere embellishments

Monthly Card Club
