Stampin' Up! Two-Tone Flora - Sketch Challenge

It's always fun playing with new products!  I knew that the Stampin' Up! Two-Tone Flora Suite was going to be amazing when I saw it.  Check out this beautiful card I created on my recent Sketch Challenge.  You can join me at 6:30pm Pacific every Tuesday night for my Sketch or get the sketch from my Social Media  afterwards.

Here's the sketch I used for this card.  I did change it up a little bit and made the 2 circles slightly smaller.  Sketches are guidelines - so feel free to use them as they are or change them up!


Now for the card I created.  I don't usually use Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and So Saffron, but it just seemed to call out to me.  Isn't this pretty!  The background die is amazing!!!

Instructions

  1. Cut So Saffron cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Soft Succulent 4" x 5 1/4" and use to cut out the large background die.
  3. Adhere to card base.
  4. Cut Designer Series Paper 2"x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base
  5. Cut out two 2 1/2" circles from Basic White cardstock using Stylish Circles Dies
  6. Adhere to card base
  7. Stamp 3 flowers using So Saffron and Evening Evergreen ink
  8. Cut out using Die
  9. Stamp 2 stems using Soft Succulent ink
  10. Cut out using Die
  11. Adhere flowers to card base using Dimensionals
  12. Adhere stems to card base using Glue Dots
  13. Stamp sentiment on Soft Succulent cardstock using Evening Evergreen ink
  14. Cut out using label
  15. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  16. Adhere Embellishments
  17. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  18. Stamp flower in bottom right corner using So Saffron and Evening Evergreen ink.
  19. Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club


I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail.  Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.  You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon.  Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm.  Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
