Today I'm hopping along with other members of the Canada Inks Up! Team. This month we're sharing Birthday cards. We all need a supply of birthday cards!

My card features one of my favourite bundles in the January to April Mini Catalogue - Nested Friends. I love this bird and the die cut nest. I paired the bundle with the birthday embossing folder from the Let's Celebrate Embossing Folder Pair.

Instructions

Cut Evening Evergreen cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form cardbase.
Cut Basic White cardstock 2" x 5 1/4" and emboss using Embossing Folder
Cut Designer Series Paper 2" x 5 1/4" and adhere to bottom of card base
Adhere embossed cardstock to the top of the card base butted up to the DSP layer
Cut out solid nest from Early Espresso cardstock
Cut out detailed nest from Crumb Cake cardstock
Adhere detailed nest to solid nest
Adhere nest to the left side using Dimensionals
Stamp bird using Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock
Colour using Crumb Cake and Evening Evergreen Stampin' Blends
Cut out using Die
Adhere to nest using Dimensional
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Evening Evergreen ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp branch in bottom right corner using Early Espresso ink
Adhere to inside of card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
