Festive Friday #131 - National Pet Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

This week’s challenge FF #131 - National Pet Day

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I created this fun shaker card using the A Fish & A Wish Bundle from the Stampin' Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue along with the Layering Diorama Dies. Isn't it fun! I love to make shaker cards...they make me smile!

I used fish/fishtank, acetate and embossing folder from the Inspo list for my card.

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Bermuda Bay cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Embossing using Dot Embossing Folder
Wrap ribbon around embossed cardstock and tie a bow on the right hand side
Adhere to card base
Cut frame using 3rd and 4th largest Diorama Dies from Basic Black cardstock
Cut Basic White cardstock using 4th largest Diorama die used in frame
Cut Window Sheet using 4th largest Diorama die used in frame
Adhere Window sheet to the back of the frame
Stamp plant and waves on Basic White cardstock die cut using Pool Party and Coastal Cabana ink
Adhere Adhesive Foam Strips to the back of the frame - gently fit the strips around the curves.
Pour green and blue sequins into the frame
Gently peel off the backing and apply the stamped Basic White piece to the frame
Adhere to the card base
Stamp 3 fish using Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party ink
Punch out
Adhere to the Window sheet
Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Bermuda Bay ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to the card base
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp waves and fish using Pool Party ink and Bermuda Bay ink in bottom right corner
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
