International Highlights Blog Hop - March 2023

I'm excited to participate again in Kylie's Monthly International Blog Highlights for February. Today's card features the the Stampin' Up! Around the Bend Bundle. I love the dies in this bundle - so many options for beautiful cards. My card today uses the corner leaf die with lots of pretty flowers added.

Do you like the colour combination? I love Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia together. I'm sad that these colours are part of the 2021-2023 In Colors that will retire at the end of April.

This card makes me smile. It is so pretty and is definitely one that will brighten anyones' day.

Instructions

Cut Evening Evergreen cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline with Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Soft Succulent cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Cut bottom left corner using corner leaf die.
Use Blending Brush to apply Soft Succulent ink to leaves
Stamp sentiment to top right of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Adhere to Soft Succulent cardstock
Adhere to card base.
Cut out 3 large flowers from Fresh Freesia cardstock
Cut out 2 flowers from Basic White cardstock
Cut out small flowers from Fresh Freesia and Basic White cardstock
Cut out large leaves from Evening Evergreen cardstock
Cut small leaves from Soft Succulent cardstock
Cut out ovals for flower centres from Fresh Freesia and Basic White cardstock
Use Blending Brush to apply Fresh Freesia ink to large flowers.
Adhere large flowers to bottom left corner using Dimensionals
Adhere small flowers using Glue Dots
Apply leaves under flowers using Glue Dots.
Apply flower centres to large flowers using Glue Dots
Adhere Pastel Pearls
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp leaves in bottom right corner using Soft Succulent ink
Adhere to inside of card.
Apply Wink of Stella to flower centres

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
