Time for a masculine card today featuring the Stampin' Up! On the Ocean Bundle. I love this bundle. When my husband and I got married in Antigua we brought home a beer stein with a pirate map on it. The Caribbean is full of pirate stories and this bundle brings back memories of our wonderful time in Antigua!

This could be a birthday card or a just because card. I created this card on a recent card sketch. You can join me on Tuesdays at 6:30pm Pacific for my sketch challenge.

Here's the card I created.

Instructions

Cut Crumb Cake cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Early Espresso cardstock 2" x 5 1/4". Emboss using splatter embossing folder.
Cut Distressed Gold Specialty Paper 1" x 5 1/4". The measurements above say 1/2" but because I cut out the wave from the paper I increased the width.

Adhere to the right side of Early Espresso cardstock tucked under. If you cut your piece 1/2" x 5 1/4" adhere butted up to Early Espresso cardstock
Adhere to left side of card base
Cut largest circle from Stylish Shapes dies from Crumb Cake cardstock
Cut 2nd largest circle from Early Espresso cardstock
Adhere Early Espresso circle to Crumb Cake Circle
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Stamp ship on Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso cardstock
Adhere to circle using Dimensionals
Cut banner die from Crumb Cake cardstock
Stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink on left side
Adhere to card base on right side and trim off excess
Adhere Gold Sequins
Tie a small bow and adhere to card base
Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp wave image using Early Espresso ink on bottom
Adhere to inside of card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.
