Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - Watercolouring

It's time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month the theme is Watercolouring Techniques. I love watercolouring and had fun making this card using the Stampin' Up! Tropical Leaf Bundle.

I inked up the leaf stamp using different greens and then stamped on Watercolor Paper. Different looks depending on whether you spritz the paper first or spritz the stamp first. The Fern Embossing Folder is a perfect addition to the card.

Instructions

Cut Blackberry Bushel cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Smoky Slate cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Emboss using Fern Embossing Folder
Adhere to card base
Ink up large leaf stamp using Pear Pizzazz ink. Spritz stamp with water and then stamp on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
Ink up large leaf stamp using Mossy Meadow ink. Spritz Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with water and then stamp.
Repeat using Old Olive ink
Stamp veins on leave using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Punch all leaves out once dry
Cut 12" of ribbon and fold in 3
Adhere to card base
Adhere leaves over top of ribbon using Dimensionals
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Blackberry Bliss ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Gold Faceted Sequins
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4'
Stamp leaf in bottom right corner using Pear Pizzazz ink
Stamp veins using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Adhere to inside of card.
