Beautiful Balloons Shaker Card

Do you love shaker cards like I do? When I saw the Beautiful Balloons Bundle, I knew that it was calling out for a shaker card! I created this one using the Gold Celebrations Specialty Paper that comes in the suite. The shaker bits are the circles that are cut out when you use the Dots and Spots Die - It was a bit fiddly to poke them all out, but was worth it.

Isn't this a fun card!

Instructions

Cut Berry Burst cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline to form card base
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
Use balloon bunch die to cut opening at top of Designer Series Paper
Lay piece on card base and adhere the cut out piece to the card base in the opening
Cut Gold Celebrations Window Sheet 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Adhere to the back of the opening
Adhere Foam Adhesive Strips around opening - make sure there are no gaps
Cut out shaker bits from Berry Burst cardstock using Dots & Spots Die
Put shaker bits on top of balloon die cut on card base
Adhere Designer Series Paper over top sandwiching the shaker bits inside
Press down
Cut out 3 tassels from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper
Adhere to balloons using Glue Dots
Tie 3 small bows from Gold Ribbon
Adhere to tassels using Glue Dots
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Berry Burst ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to bottom of card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Gold Sequins
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp large balloon in bottom right corner using Berry Burst ink stamped off
Stamp confetti in balloon using Berry Burst ink
Adhere to inside of card

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
