Technique Tuesday - Designer Series Paper

It's time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop and I'm hopping with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. This month the theme is Designer Series Paper.

I used the adorable Designer Series Paper from the Zany Zoo Suite in the 2023-2024 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. It is so cute! I created the background layer using 1 piece of Designer Series Paper - cut in 2 strips and adhere together. This card was made on my weekly sketch challenge. Instructions

Cut Lemon Lime Twist cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using a Bone Folder to form card base
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4".
Cut the Designer Series into 2 pieces - 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" and 2" x 5 1/4". You can save the 1/2" strip for the inside of the card or recycle it.
Adhere 1 1/2" strip to left side of card base
Adhere 2" strip to right side of card base
Cut Lemon Lime Twist cardstock 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Adhere in the middle of the card base
Cut Lemon Lime Twist cardstock 2 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/4" x 3"
Stamp image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White cardstock
Colour with Stampin' Blends - Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly and Calypso Coral
Adhere to Lemon Lime Twist cardstock
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Tie ribbon around bottom of card base and tie a bow on left side
Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 2"
Stamp sentiment and adhere to card base over ribbon using Dimensionals
Adhere Lemon Lolly Solid Gems
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp confetti in bottom right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
