I've been stamping for over 30 years. When I think back to my beginnings, my favourite memory is using an old frying pan to do heat embossing. It seems so strange now to have to use the frying pan when we have great heat guns.
I discovered Stampin' Up! in 2010 and it was an "ahah moment" for me. I no longer had to think about finding coordinating card stock, ribbon, embellishments and ink. Stampin' Up! did all of the hard work for me. I can spend my time being creative instead of matching colours!
When I'm not stamping, I'm doing other creative activities - quilting, felting, mixed media and knitting. I retired from a full time job in early 2018 and have been filling my days with anything creative since!
My husband and I and our dog, Penny spend the summers sailing around the Gulf Islands.
