It's almost here! Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration

I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and are able to spend some quiet time after the holidays.

It's almost time for the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue to finish and the new Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration (SAB) to start.  There are some amazing new products (as always) in this year's Occasions Catalogue and SAB catalogue - I've taken some time during the past few days to play with some of them.

Here are some samples from the new catalogue - High Tide is one of my favourites.  For those of you that know me, you'll know that my husband and I spend lots of time in the summer on our sailboat.  This stamp set was perfect for me and it was perfect for an Anniversary card for my husband.  Check out this Twisted Pop-up card that I made for him.  I've set some high expectations for cards for him - he expects all of the to pop up now!

Recipe:  Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstock, Succulent Garden and Carried Away Designer Series Paper and Night of Navy ink

This card uses Designer Series Paper from the Succulent Garden Suite in the Occasions catalogue and  Carried Away DSP from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue.  I think both are perfect for the nautical theme of this card - Night of Navy, Watermelon Wonder and Smoky Slate - my new favourite combination!

Here's a couple of other samples using the High Tide set.

Inspired by a card I saw at Onstage in Vancouver.
Recipe:  Serene Scenes DSP, Island Indigo and Crumb Cake cardstock and Crumb Cake , Early  Espresso and  Island Indigo Ink

Recipe:  Pacific Point, Crushed Curry and Whisper White Cardstock, Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Old Olive inks
I've repeated the colours on this card - definitely love the colour combination!
