Can you CASE it Friday - Feeling of Christmas

Todays' Can you CASE (Copy and Share Everything) features the Feeling of Christmas stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue (page 16).  This stamp set was one of the first sets I bought from the Holiday Catalogue.  I think I just love the simplicity of the stamp set and how easy it is to create a beautiful card with.

Instructions

  1. Fold Early Espresso card stock (8 1/2" x 11") in half to make card base.
  2. Adhere Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (4" x 5 1/4")  to card base.
  3. Stamp image in Basic Black Archival ink to Whisper White card stock (3 3/8" x 3 3/4").
  4. Stamp over image in Garden Green ink
  5. Colour ribbon and berries using Cherry Cobbler (dark) Stampin' Blends marker
  6. Punch out strip of border using Early Espresso card stock with Decorative Ribbon Border Punch.  Cut 2 pieces - 3 3/8" long.
  7. Adhere 1 piece of border to top and bottom of stamped image piece
  8. Adhere Year of Cheer Washi Tape to top and bottom.
  9. Cut doily in half and adhere to top and bottom
  10. Cut 2 pieces from Garden Green card stock (3 3/8" x 1").  Stamp branch image to both using Garden Green ink.
  11. Adhere to stamped image on top and bottom
  12. Adhere linen thread to card base using Fast Fuse - I wrap it loosely around my hand about 6 times and then adhere to the card
  13. Adhere the stamped image to the card base using Dimensionals
