Christmas Pines

Today's card features the Christmas Pines stampset.  I used my Stamparatus to create a wreath using the smallest pinecone from the set.  In a previous post I showed you how to create the template for this technique.  It allows you to make a wreath from any small stamp - a flower or in this case a pine cone.

For this card, I used the Pinecone image to create my wreath.  I stamped it 8 times using Early Espresso around the circle.  Then I stamped part of the bough using Shaded Spruce.  I didn't use my Stamparatus for this step - I inked up the end of the stamp only and stamped in the middle of each pinecone.  Don't worry about how the middle looks, it's covered with the wreath in the centre.  For the wreath I used the Making Christmas Bright stampset and then stamped a sentiment from Christmas Pines using Real Red.

A pop of Gold Foil Sheet and then a Gold Bow to finish off the card.
