Festive Friday Challenge #0094 - Apple Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project.  We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

This week’s challenge FF #0094 - Apple Day

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge  At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. If you want help entering, please email me at stampinwithmelva@gmail.com and I’d be happy to help you!

I created this pretty card featuring the Peaceful Cabin Product Suite and used tree, circles and gingham on my card.  I am completely in love with this product suite.  It was my first use of the die that cuts out the cabin without the stamped image!  Isn't it nice!  The gingham ribbon is not part of the suite, but perfectly complements it!

Instructions

  1. Cut Basic Black card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold on score line to form card base.
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut out scalloped circle from Basic Black card stock using largest scalloped circle die from Layering Circles
  4. Cut out largest circle from Basic White card stock using largest circle die from Layering Circles
  5. Adhere Basic White circle to scalloped circle using Stampin' Seal.
  6. Adhere to Designer Series Paper using Stampin' Seal.
  7. Cut out trees using 3 tree die from Basic Black card stock.
  8. Adhere to circle using Dimensionals
  9. Cut out individual trees (all 3 sizes) from Vellum Card Stock using individual tree dies.
  10. Adhere to black trees using Glue Dots.
  11. Cut out cabin using dies from Smoky Slate card stock.
  12. Adhere to trees using Stampin' Seal.
  13. Tie a small bow about 7" from end of ribbon and adhere to the front of the Designer Series Paper over the bottom of the cabin piece.  The bow should be on the right hand edge.  Adhere to back of Designer Series Paper using Stampin' Seal.
  14. Adhere DSP to card base using Stampin' Seal.
  15. Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.
  16. Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals.
You can get all of the supplies needed for the folder from my Online Store!   Check out the supply list below.
