Lighthouse Point Card

I shared a card recently using the Lighthouse Point Bundle and commented on how much I love light houses. Living on the West Coast I'm always intrigued by the story of light house keepers and fascinated to read about life at a Lighthouse. Of course, today all of our lighthouses are automated so there isn't anyone living there.

Check out this fun "peekaboo" card I created using the bundle. I love how this turned out in Night of Navy and Gray Granite.

Instructions

Cut Night of Navy cardstock 4 1/4" x 7" and score at 5 1/2". Fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Night of Navy cardstock 1 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Cut the 5th largest Deckled Rectangle from Basic White cardstock
Stamp rocks on bottom using Gray Granite ink - full strength and stamped off.
Align Night of Navy cardstock piece (1 1/2" x 4 1/4") along bottom of card base
Adhere stamped rectangle between the Night of Navy pieces using Dimensionals.
Stamp light house using Gray Granite ink on Basic White cardstock
Stamp strips on lighthouse using Night of Navy ink
Cut out using Die
Colour in top of light house using Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends or marker
Cut out 2 rays of light from Daffodil Delight cardstock
Adhere to the back of the light house
Adhere lighthouse to rectangle using Dimensionals.
Wrap linen thread around bottom of card base 2-3 times and tie a bow
Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 2" and stamp sentiment using Night of Navy ink
Adhere to rectangle
Adhere Rustic Metallic Dots

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
