Trip Achievers Blog Hop - November 2022

Today I'm sharing a card I created using the Stampin' Up! Apple Harvest Stamp Set. I love this stamp set. I think my colouring makes the apples look more like peaches, but it's still pretty! I deconstructed the Natural Woven ribbon to create a frayed effect to finish off the card.

Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on score line with Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut largest Scalloped Rectangle from Garden Green DSP and adhere to card base
Cut 2nd largest Scalloped Rectangle from Basic White cardstock
Stamp image on rectangle using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Colour using Stampin' Blends - Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Real Red
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Cut 4" of Ribbon and then cut the bottom edge off. Fray using the Take your Pick Tool
Adhere to the bottom of the rectangle on the card base.
Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Cut into smaller parts
Adhere over ribbon using Dimensionals
Cut DSP 1" x 4 1/4" and adhere to the bottom of the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
