Peekaboo Treat Bags for Christmas

Today's project is some easy to make treat bags - perfect for stocking stuffers or as favours for your holiday table.  I've used the Peekaboo Treat Bags long with product from the Stampin' Up! Santa's Express Suite.  Wouldn't you love to have one of these at your plate on Christmas Day!

Instructions

  1. Cut Designer Series Paper 2" x 3 3/4" and adhere to top section of treat bag
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 3 3/4" and adhere to bottom section of treat bag.
  3. Cut cardstock using largest tag die
  4. Stamp stars using Petal Pink in on tag
  5. Stamp puffs of smoke on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  6. Colour using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends or Marker
  7. Option 1 - Cut train from DSP using Die - adhere to tag
  8. Option 2 - Stamp train on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Colour using Stampin' Blends.  Cut out using Die.  Adhere to tag
  9. Cut Iridescent Trim and Metallic Woven Ribbon and put through hole in tag
  10. Tie with a small piece of Metallic Woven Ribbon
  11. Adhere tag to treat bag using Dimensionals
  12. Adhere sequins
  13. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
  14. Cut out using Paper Snips
  15. Adhere to tag using Dimensionals.
  16. Colour Santa's Beard using Wink of Stella
  17. Fill with goodies.

Monthly Card Club


I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail.  Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.  You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon.  Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

You can join my club monthly.  If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm.  Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
