Partial Die Cutting with Abigail Rose

I shared this technique on my Thursday night "Time for a Technique" Live on Facebook and Youtube. It's been awhile since I did partial die cutting, but it works beautifully with the Cottage Rose Bundle.

Check out this pretty card in Early Espresso and Petal Pink.

Instructions

Cut Early Espresso cardstock 5 1/2" x 7" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline with Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Petal Pink cardstock 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 3 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp large flower image using Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla - about 1/4" from right side
Place Die over image and then place Cutting Plate over half of the image (the half that you want to be cut out).
Cut out using Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Partially colour flower and leaves using Petal Pink and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.
Cut from top and bottom to edge of cut out image using Trimmer
Stamp sentiment below flower using Early Espresso ink
Adhere to Petal Pink cardstock - you may have to trim the Very Vanilla piece slightly.
Adhere to front flap of card
Adhere Champagne Rhinestones
Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to right side of Very Vanilla cardstock - slightly overlapped
Stamp leaves using Early Espresso ink
Adhere to inside of card
