Shaded Summer - Colouring stamps with Markers

Have you wished you had a ink pad of a certain colour but don't? Did you know that you can colour rubber/cling mount stamps using your Stampin' Write Markers? What a great way to get the perfect matching colour when you don't have the ink pad. Also to get a little bit of a different look to the stamped image.

I used the Shaded Summer Stamp Set and coordinating Dies from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue on this pretty card along with the Split Texture Dies and coloured the images using Blushing Bride and Old Olive Markers. I love how this card turned out.

Instructions

Cut Blushing Bride cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and cut out Split Texture Die
Adhere to Basic White cardstock and adhere to card base.
Stamp flower on Basic White cardstock using Blushing Bride and Old Olive Marker - huff on stamped image before stamping on paper
Cut out using Die
Cut out 2 leaves from Old Olive cardstock
Adhere flower image to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere leaves behind flower using Glue Dots
Stamp sentiment on Basic White card using Blushing Bride Marker
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Cut 3" of ribbon and fold in half. Adhere behind flower using Glue Dot
Adhere Solid Faceted Gems
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Colour sprigs using Old Olive marker and stamp on bottom right of Basic White cardstock
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
