Have you spotted the adorable rhino in the March Online Exclusives? Oh my gosh, these little rhinos are so cute. You can't help yourself but smile! Check out this fun card I created - one of the rhinos has decided to hide, well, sort of hide, behind the bush. I participated in a Crazy Challenge - we were asked to use Blackberry Bliss and Smoky Slate on our project.

This technique is so easy using Masking Paper. Stamp and cut out the bush from Masking Paper. Stamp the image on your cardstock and then apply the Masking Paper. Stamp over top using the Rhino image. One tip I would suggest is to colour your bush before you apply the Masking Paper. In my video I didn't do this and it was a bit confusing where I should colour!

Instructions

Cut Blackberry Bliss cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base
Cut Smoky Slate cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to card base
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Stamp bush on right hand side using Old Olive ink
Colour using Old Olive Stampin' Blends.
Stamp bush again on Masking Paper - cut out using Paper Snips - make sure you cut close to the lines of the stamped image
Apply gently over stamped image.
Stamp rhino using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
Colour using Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends
Remove Masking Paper gently
Stamp second rhino using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Colour using Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends for the Rhino and So Saffron for the bird
Stamp sentiment in Blackberry Blissh
Adhere to card base
Stamp bush on Old Olive cardstock using Old Olive ink
Cut out using Dies
Cut out tree from Early Espresso cardstock
Cut out branches from Old Olive cardstock
Adhere tree to the right side of card
Adhere branches using Dimensionals
Adhere bush using Dimensionals
Adhere Brushed Brass Butterflies.

Monthly Card Club
