Desert Details Fancy Fold

I'm sharing a card I created using the Desert Detail Suite which is retiring at the end of April.  I'm sad about this suite going away.  It's so pretty and I don't feel like I played with it enough!  Check out this pretty fancy fold I made.

Aren't the colours gorgeous in Cajun Craze and Pale Papaya.  I'm sad that Pale Papaya is retiring at the end of April.  If you love it like I do, grab it before it's gone!

Instructions

  1. Cut Cajun Craze cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". 
  2. Cut Cajun Craze cardstock 5 1/2" x 8".  
  3. Score at 1 1/2", 2 3/4", 5 1/4" and 6 1/2" 
  4. Fold on score lines in mountain, valley, valley, mountain configuration. 
  5. Cut Cajun Craze cardstock 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" Cut Designer Series paper 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" 
  6. Adhere to Cajun Craze cardstock 
  7. Cut rectangle using Die from Pale Papaya cardstock 
  8. Adhere to Designer Series Paper Cut stem from Soft Succulent cardstock 
  9. Adhere to card front Stamp flower using Cajun Craze ink on Basic White cardstock 
  10. Cut out using Die Adhere to card front using dimensionals 
  11. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Cajun Craze ink Cut out using Paper Snips 
  12. Adhere to card front using Dimensionals 
  13. Cut Basic White cardstock 1 3/4" x 5 1/4"
  14. Stamp border along right edge using Cajun Craze ink  
  15. Adhere to middle of card base - between 2 3/4" scoreline and 5 1/4" score line 
  16. Cut Designer Series Paper 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" 
  17. Adhere to right flap Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 5 1/4" 
  18. Adhere to inside flap between Basic White and Designer Series Paper 
  19. Adhere folded card base to Cajun Craze cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" so that folded cardstock piece is 1/4" from right side.
  20. Adhere Cajun Craze card front (decorated with flower) to card base so that the left edge is aligned with left edge of card base. 
  21.  Adhere Pastel Iridescent Gems

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail.  Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.  You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder.  Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

You can join my club monthly.  If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm.  Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
