Sweet Candy Canes - Fancy Fold

Time for a fancy fold.  I received an amazing card from Cindy Westerink at Stampin' Up! BackStage Conference in August using this fold and I've been having fun with it.  Today my card features the Stampin' Up! Sweet Candy Canes Bundle.

Isn't this pretty!


  1. Cut Sweet Sorbet cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" for a card base
  2. Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1" x 4"
  3. Adhere to the left and right ends of the Sweet Sorbet cardstock
  4. Cut Sweet Sorbet cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 2", 3 3/4", 7 1/4", and 9"
  5. Fold the 3 3/4" and 7 1/4" score lines inwards and the 2" and 9" scorelines outwards to create a gatefold
  6. Adhere to the card base aligned with the top and bottom and centred
  7. Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 3/4" x 4" and adhere to front flaps
  8. Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 1/2" x 4" and adhere to the inside flaps
  9. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/4" x 4"
  10. Stamp sentiment using Sweet Sorbet ink
  11. Adhere to the inside of the card in the middle
  12. Cut rectangle from Sweet Sorbet cardstock using 5th largest Deckled Rectangle die
  13. Cut ribbon holes in each end using the Fancy Label Punch
  14. Stamp image on rectangle using Sweet Sorbet ink
  15. Cut 6" of ribbon and put through holes
  16. Adhere to the left flap of card using Dimensionals
  17. Stamp 2 candy canes on Basic White cardstock using Sweet Sorbet ink
  18. Cut out using Dies
  19. Adhere crossed over to card base using Dimensionals
  20. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock and cut out using Paper Snips
  21. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  22. Adhere sequins

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail.  Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.  You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon.  Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

You can join my club monthly.  If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm.  Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
