Sneak Peek - Stampin' Up! Country Floral Lane

Today's card is a sneak peek from the upcoming Stampin' Up! 2023 January to April Mini Catalogue.  The Suite is called "Country Lane Floral" and it's so pretty.  I'm a sucker for punch bundles and that's what this suite includes plus 2 different Designer Series Papers, Sequins and a Ribbon Combo.  Love, love, love it all.  

While you might think this is perfect for Valentine's Day (and it is), it doesn't have to be just for that.  Lots of great sentiments and uses for this suite of products.  Check out the pretty card I created on a recent Sketch Challenge.

First, here's my sketch.


Now for my card.  Love the combination of Sweet Sorbet and Petal Pink. Isn't this a pretty card!

Instructions

  1. Cut Sweet Sorbet cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder for form card base.
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper (Country Lane Floral) 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Designer Series Paper (Country Gingham) 2" x 5 1/4"
  4. Cut 8" of each of the ribbons and wrap around Country Gingham Designer Series Paper - spaced just slightly apart.
  5. Adhere to first piece of Designer Series Paper 
  6. Adhere to the card base.
  7. Cut out 2nd largest circle from Basic White cardstock using Stylish Shapes Dies
  8. Stamp hearts using Sweet Sorbet ink on Sweet Sorbet cardstock and punch out
  9. Stamp hearts using Petal Pink ink on Petal Pink cardstock and punch out
  10. Adhere circle using Dimensionals
  11. Adhere to left side of card base using Dimensionals
  12. Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 2"
  13. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Sweet Sorbet ink
  14. Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals
  15. Adhere Embellishments
  16. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  17. Stamp small hearts in bottom right corner twice - full strength and stamped off.
  18. Adhere to the card base.

Monthly Card Club


I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail.  Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.  You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon.  Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

You can join my club monthly.  If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm.  Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
