Trifold Angle Gatefold Card - Storybook Gnomes

Time for one of my favourite fun folds - a Trifold Angle Gatefold card.  I absolutely love the Stampin' Up! Storybook Gnomes Suite from the Mini Catalogue.  I'm so excited there is a new stamp set coming with adorable gnomes in the January to April Mini Catalogue and the Gnome Dies are being carried over!

Isn't this a pretty card! That snowflake paper is so pretty and created the perfect background for my gnome.

These card easy to make with a little bit of cutting!  Isn't this adorable!

For instructions check out a You Tube video I previously recorded featuring the Painted Christmas Suite.

  1. Cut Pacific Point card stock 5 1/2" x 11" and score at 3 3/8" and 7 5/8".  Fold on score lines for form card base.
  2. For the right hand side, line up the score line in the cutting track of your trimmer and the point at the 1 1/2" mark on the right hand side of your trimmer cutting track.  Cut on the angle.
  3. Turn the card stock so that the point you just created is in the track of the trimmer and the bottom point is at the 1" mark on the right hand side of your trimmer cutting track.  Cut on the angle.
  4. Now turn the card and repeat on the other side.
  5. Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 3 1/4" x 5 1/4".
  6. Line up the top left corner in the cutting track of your trimmer and the right hand corner at 1 1/2" on the right hand side of your trimmer.  Cut on the angel
  7. Turn the DSP so that the point you just created is in the track of the trimmer and the bottom point is at the 1" mark on the right hand side of your trimmer cutting track.  Cut on the angle.
  8. You'll need to turn the other piece DSP so that the "wrong side" (that is the side you will glue down) is facing up and repeat the cutting.
  9. Adhere the DSP to the flaps of your card base using your favourite adhesive.
  10. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4".
  11. Adhere to the middle section of the inside of the card base
  12. Cut Pacific Point card stock 1 1/4" x 11" and wrap around card base so that the seam is at the front (it will be covered) - don't make this too tight or you will have a hard time getting the belly band on and off.
  13. Adhere the ends of the belly band together.
  14. Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 11"
  15. Wrap ribbon around Belly Band and adhere at the front covering the seam.
  16. Wrap ribbon around middle of Belly Band and adhere.
  17. Stamp gnome on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
  18. Colour with Markers and Blends - Pacific Point, Smoky Slate, Tahitian Tide, So Saffron and Pool Party
  19. Cut out using Die
  20. Adhere to Belly Band using Dimensionals
  21. Stamp sentiment on Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
  22. Cut out using Paper Snips.
  23. Adhere to Belly Band using Dimensionals.
  24. Adhere Embellishments
