A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper - Making a Difference!

I love the fact that Stampin' Up! includes a product in each catalogue where part of the proceeds from the sale of the item is given back to support charities. The Make a Difference item in the upcoming September to December Mini Catalogue is the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper.  

$4 from the sale of each package of the paper will be donated to support organizations dedicated to spreading sheer and providing support to those in need.  So amazing!  And the paper is stunning so you're going to want to grab an extra package!  In Canada, we'd call this a "2 fer" - great paper for us to use and give back at the same time!

I used the paper on my recent Sketch Challenge - so pretty in Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock.

Now, here's my card.

Instructions

  1. Cut Lost Lagoon cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5"
  3. Cut in half at 2 3/4"
  4. Turn over one piece and adhere the 2 pieces butted up against each other to card base
  5. Cut Pretty Peacock cardstock 1 1/2" x 4"
  6. Emboss using the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder.
  7. Adhere to the card base
  8. Punch out Lost Lagoon circle using 2" circle punch
  9. Punch out Basic White circle using 1 3/4" circle punch
  10. Stamp snowflakes on Basic White circle using Lost Lagoon ink stamped off
  11. Adhere to Lost Lagoon circle
  12. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  13. Stamp sentiment on scrap of Basic White cardstock using Pretty Peacock ink
  14. Cut out words separately using Paper Snips
  15. Adhere to the card base using Mini Dimensionals
  16. Adhere embellishments
  17. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  18. Stamp sentiment in centre and snow flakes in bottom right corner using Pretty Peacock ink
  19. Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail.  Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.  You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder.  Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm.  Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
