International Highlights Winners Blog Hop - August 2023

I’m so excited to be featured in the the International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was selected to participate in this hop by finishing in the top 10 in the August 2023 International Highlights. Thank you to everyone who voted for my Inked and Tiled Embossed Resist Card.

I created this card on a recent Sketch Challenge. You can join me on Facebook or YouTube on Tuesday at 2pm Pacific each week for a new sketch!

First, here's the sketch I used.

I love how this turned out. Isn't Fresh Freesia and Basic Black a pretty colour combination! The Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper is the star of the show! So pretty!

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to card base
Cut Basic Black cardstock 2 1/4" x 4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 2" x 3 3/4"
Stamp envelopes on right side of Basic White cardstock using Fresh Freesia ink
Adhere to Basic Black cardstock
Adhere to the card base.
Stamp typewriter and paper on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Stamp sentiment in middle of paper image using Fresh Freesia ink
Cut out typewriter and paper using Paper Snips
Punch out circle from Fresh Freesia cardstock using 2" Circle Punch
Adhere circle to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere typewriter and paper to circle offset a little using Dimensionals
Adhere embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp sentiment in middle using Fresh Freesia ink and paper clips in bottom right using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
