Festive Friday Challenge #143 - World Card Making Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

This week’s challenge FF #143 - World Card Making Day

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. Check out this fun card I created for a recent sketch challenge. Isn't this a fun card! It features the Beary Cute Bundle from the Stampin' Up! September to December Mini Catalogue along with the Snowflake Magic Specialty Paper. I love how bright and shiny the card is!

Here's the sketch I used.

Now, here's the card. This layout is so quick and easy and is one of my "go to" layouts!

Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Specialty Paper 2" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the left side of card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 4"
Stamp sentiment in top right corner using Coastal Cabana ink
Emboss Basic White cardstock using Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder
Cut Coastal Cabana cardstock 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Adhere embossed cardstock to Coastal Cabana cardstock
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Punch circle from Coastal Cabana cardstock using 2 3/8" Circle Punch
Stamp bear on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Punch out
Adhere bear to circle using Dimensionals
Cut 9" of ribbon and fold in half.
Adhere ribbon to back of circle
Adhere circle to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere sequins
Stamp sentiment and snowflakes on the inside of the card using Coastal Cabana ink.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
