International Project Highlights Blog Hop - September 2023

I'm excited to participate again in Kylie's Monthly International Blog Highlights for September. Today I'm sharing a pretty card featuring the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks with a sentiment from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set. Isn't this stunning!

I love how easy it is to use the masks - there are 4 layers and you can line them up using the notches. I used Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake and Copper Clay for the flowers and Mossy Meadow for the leaves. Seems perfect for this time of the year as Autumn approaches, but the flowers will look just as beautiful in other colours!

Instructions

Cut Copper Clay cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base
Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/4". Adhere to grid paper using Post It Note Tape or a post it note so it doesn't move around.
Layer Mask 1 on top of Basic White - making note of where you have it aligned using the notches.
Colour flowers using Blending Brush with Daffodil Delight ink
Add Pumpkin Pie ink in centre using Blending Brush
Change to Mask 2 and use Mossy Meadow ink and a Blending Brush to colour the leaves
Change to Mask 3 and use Crumb Cake ink to add centre of flower
Change to Mask 4 and use Copper Clay ink to add details to centre of flower.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 2 3/4"
Stamp sentiment using Copper Clay ink on right side of Basic White cardstock
Cut Copper Clay cardstock 1" x 3"
Align stamped sentiment piece on Copper Clay piece and cut tag ends in the left end
Adhere Basic White to Copper Clay cardstock using Dimensionals
Cut 9" of Copper Ribbon and zig zag behind sentiment
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere Copper Clay In Color Dots
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Use masks to colour small flower in bottom right corner using Daffodil Delight ink, Crumb Cake ink and Copper Clay ink.
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
