It's such an exciting time of the year when a new Stampin' Up! Catalogue launches! Have you seen the new catalogue? It went live yesterday and it is absolutely full of amazing new products!

Two of my favourite are the Winter Meadow Product Suite and the Deckled Circle Dies. I love being able to create a round card that stands up. I used the 5 3/8" die and cut out the circle from a piece of cardstock folded in half. When you get to the fold of the cardstock, stop cutting and you will have a card that opens. How cool is that!

Isn't this card pretty in Lost Lagoon and the Snowflake Magic Specialty Paper that is part of the suite. I cut that using the die that is one size smaller than the base.

Instructions

Score 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock at 5 1/2" and burnish on scoreline to form card base.
Place circle die on card base and cut the circle out - stop cutting when you have a 1 1/2" section at the top - this holds the pieces together.
Cut out specialty paper using Deckled Circle Die (one size smaller than base)
Adhere to the card base
Cut 2nd largest rounded rectangle using Die from Basic White cardstock
Stamp sentiment using Lost Lagoon ink
Cut out two boughs from Lost Lagoon cardstock
Adhere behind sentiment
Cut 12" of ribbon and zig zag behind sentiment
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Faceted Gems
Cut Basic White cardstock using Deckled Circle Die (one size smaller than base
Stamp sentiment and leaves on circle using Lost Lagoon ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
