Share It Sunday Blog Hop - September 2023

It's time for another Share It Sunday Blog Hop!  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world and we are sharing our projects with you as part of this blog hop.  There is no theme for our blog hop today.

I'm in love with the Beary Christmas Suite from the September to December Mini Catalogue.  I created this card on my recent Virtual Launch and had to share it.  It's a faux step card which is one of my favourite fancy folds.  So much easier than a Step card where you have to cut and score the paper.  This is to separate pieces of paper and easy to assemble!  You can check out the Instructions and Video below for all of the details

Isn't this card fun!

  1. Cut Night of Navy cardstock 4 1/4" x 9" and score at 1 1/4", 2 1/2" and 5 3/4".  Fold in mountain, valley, mountain configuration starting on the 1 1/4" score line.  Burnish all scorelines using Bone Folder.
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the bottom section of the card base (1 1/4" x 5 1/2")
  3. Cut Designer Series Paper 3" x 4" and adhere to the middle section of the card base
  4. Cut Night of Navy cardstock 2 1/2" x 11" and score at 5 1/2"
  5. Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the front of the Night of Navy cardstock
  6. Adhere to the card base - along 1 1/4" section and to back
  7. Punch out circle from Balmy Blue cardstock using 2 3/8" Circle Punch
  8. Emboss using Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder
  9. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  10. Cut 2 pieces of ribbon about 4" long
  11. Adhere to circle
  12. Stamp large bear and small bear on Very Vanilla cardstock using Tuxedo Blacm Memento Ink
  13. Colour part of the bear using Gray Granite Stampin' Blends
  14. Punch out large bear and cut out small bear
  15. Adhere to circle using Dimensionals
  16. Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 3/4" x 3"
  17. Stamp sentiment using Balmy Blue Ink
  18. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  19. Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 2 1/4" x 5 1/4"
  20. Adhere to the back of the card

You can find all of the supplies for this card in my Online Store.

Check out my Youtube Video for tips and tricks to make this card - Note, in the video I used Night of Navy ink for the sentiment . Don't forget to subscribe to my Stamping with Melva YouTube Channel
