Demonstrator Blog Hop - December 2023

Today I'm hopping with other Demonstrators around the world sharing Thank You cards.  I make a lot of Thank You cards as I share them with customers each month.  Check out this pretty card featuring the Emboss Resist Technique.

Emboss Resist is one of my favourite techniques and the leaf from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set is perfect to show off.  Isn't this card pretty in the greens?

Instructions

  1. Cut Pretty Peacock cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut rectangle from Parakeet Party cardstock using the second largest Scalloped Contour Die
  3. Cut rectangle from Basic White cardstock using the third largest Scalloped Contour Die
  4. Stamp leaf on Basic White cardstock rectangle using Versamark
  5. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder
  6. Heat to melt
  7. Once cool, use Blending Brush with Pretty Peacock ink to colour around leaf.
  8. Adhere to Parakeet Party rectangle
  9. Adhere to the card base.
  10. Stamp sentiment using Versamark ink on Pretty Peacock cardstock
  11. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder
