Ice Cream Swirl - a sneak peek from the SU! Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue

Who doesn't love an ice cream cone!  Even in winter, ice cream always hits the spot.  Did you see the Ice Cream Swirl Bundle in the new Jan to Apr Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue?  It's so adorable. 

Check out this adorable card I shared on a recent Sketch Challenge.  It's a corner tuck card which is so fun with a second card to add a greeting to!  

Here's the sketch I used.



Now here's the fun card.  What flavour do you think this is?  Maybe strawberry swirl?

Instructions

  1. Cut Sweet Sorbet cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Sweet Sorbet cardstock 3 1/4" x 8" and score at 4".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form small card base.
  4. Adhere to larger card base
  5. Cut Sweet Sorbet cardstock 2" x 2" and cut in half on the diagonal.
  6. Adhere in the bottom right corner so that the smaller card base tucks inside - apply adhesive only on the left edge and bottom edge.
  7. Cut cone from Crumb Cake cardstock using Dies - you only need one half of the die so put on cardstock so that top edge is at the top of the cardstock.  Trim off excess
  8. Cut ice cream from Basic White cardstock using Die
  9. Cut swirl from Petal Pink cardstock using Die
  10. Adhere swirl to ice cream
  11. Adhere cone to smaller card base using Dimensionals
  12. Adhere ice cream above cone using Dimensionals
  13. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Sweet Sorbet ink
  14. Cut out using Paper Snips
  15. Adhere to smaller card base using Dimensionals
  16. Adhere embellishemnts
  17. Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 3 3/4"
  18. Stamp sentiment using Sweet Sorbet ink
  19. Adhere to the inside of small card base
  20. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  21. Stamp sentiment using Sweet Sorbet ink
  22. Adhere to the inside of the card

Monthly Card Club
