Stamping With Friends Blog Hop - Bee My Valentine

Today I'm hopping with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop.  Our theme for this hop is "Blogger's Choice".   I decided to share a sneak peek from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue called Bee My Valentine.  It is so adorable!

I created this card on a recent sketch challenge.  Join me on Tuesdays at 2pm Pacific for a new sketch each week.  Here's the sketch I used for this card.




Now, here's the adorable card I created.



Instructions

  1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base
  2. Cut Poppy Parade cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Crushed Curry cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
  4. Adhere Crushed Curry cardstock to Poppy Parade cardstock
  5. Adhere to card base.
  6. Cut 3 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 1/4" x 3"  - can be all of the same pattern or 2 of 1 pattern and 1 of another.
  7. Adhere to card base
  8. Stamp bee body using Crushed Curry ink
  9. Stamp stripes and face using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
  10. Punch out
  11. Stamp 2 wings using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
  12. Punch out
  13. Adhere wings to body using Glue Dots
  14. Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 3 1/2"
  15. Stamp sentiment using Poppy Parade ink
  16. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  17. Adhere bee above sentiment using Dimensionals
  18. Tie a small bow from ribbon
  19. Adhere to card base using a Glue Dot
  20. Adhere embellishments
  21. Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4"
  22. Adhere to right side of inside of card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail.  Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.  You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder.  Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
